Megan Gram is the Executive Director of Bend Spay+Neuter Project. In addition to her nearly ten years at BSNP, Megan has worked with a variety of national and international high quality high volume spay and neuter organizations including Emancipet, Animal Balance, and Humane Alliance. She is also the Central Oregon District Leader for the Humane Society of the United States and a local Ambassador for Animal Balance. Megan believes strongly in the power of partnerships and has founded two local animal welfare alliances in conjunction with the Humane Society of Central Oregon, The Central Oregon Cat Alliance and the Central Oregon Animal Welfare Alliance. In her spare time, Megan enjoys hanging with her three rescue dogs (two pitties and one black lab!), her three indoor cats, and acquiring new rescue animals to fill her new small farm!

Dr. Katie Bahr, DVM, Medical Director – medicaldirector@bendsnip.org

Bend-Spay-Neuter-Project-Oregon-Dr-Katie-BahrDr. Bahr grew up in Rochester, MN and attended South Dakota State University for her undergraduate education.  She graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in April 2011.  She then completed a one year small animal rotating internship at Texas A&M University.  Dr. Bahr then completed seven months of a surgical residency in Ohio before moving to Oregon in 2013 where she joined general practice for one year and worked closely with the local shelter.  Because of her desire to end pet overpopulation she has joined Bend Spay & Neuter Project as Medical Director.  Since starting at BSNP, Dr. Bahr has received additional training in both non-surgical sterilization and high volume, high-quality spay/neuter at both Emancipet in Austin, TX and Humane Alliance in Asheville, NC. She shares her home with three rescued dogs and her one eared cat Muffin.

 

 Teagan Howell – Veterinary Assistant

She graduated from Redmond High School in 2009 and took part in a veterinary assistant program in 2011-2012. Shortly after, she began volunteer work at Bend Spay-Neuter, before taking a Recovery Assistant position in the summer of 2014.

 Rhonda Ahern – Office Manager/Volunteer Coordinator– volunteer@bendsnip.org

Bend-Spay-Neuter-Project-Oregon-Affordable-Care-Rhonda-AhernRhonda grew up surrounded by the mountains of Montana and moved to Bend in 2009 with her husband and 2 daughters where she continues to enjoy and discover all of the mountains and trails that abound in beautiful Central Oregon. She has always had a passion for helping the community and is proud to be part of controlling the dog and cat population of Central Oregon through BSNP.

 Brinna Keillor - Executive Assistant - brinnak@bendsnip.org

Brinna has been a longtime fan of Bend Spay and Neuter. She started volunteering at the clinic in 2008 with her mother, Sissy, and two sisters. She took a long break from volunteering to study at the University of Oregon and teach English in Japan. When she returned from Japan, Brinna was thrilled to hear Bend Spay and Neuter was looking for employees. She joined the team in October 2016.

Alicia is a Eugene native who recently moved to Bend. She lives with her dog Jake and likes elephants and the color purple. 

Brittany Landucci- Recovery Assistant

Brittany has a bachelor's degree in Mass Communications and Business and has worked with companies such as DreamWorks Animation, ABC Sports San Francisco / Bay Area and most recently, a fitness startup called Grow Fit. She is currently pursuing her Certification in Veterinary Technology and hopes to graduate in a few years. She and her husband Rick have lived in Bend for two years and reside with their two small dogs Oliver and Finnius Deschutes (who they rescued here in Bend!) and their gigantic cat Hemi.
