We use the highest quality anesthesia and pain management available. Each individual animal is treated with the highest regard at our clinic! All kitties are given fluids post surgery, treated for ear mites if necessary and vitals monitored by caring volunteers!

Pre-Surgery instructions:
         For kittens under 4 mths of age please feed them a small amount of food the morning of surgery.  For older cats no food after 8:00 pm the night before, they can have water.

           Please bring animals to the clinic between 8:30 - 9:00 in a clean carrier with a clean towel.  If you have more than one animal please to try to have extra carriers.

         Animals are ready to go home between 4:00-5:00 pm.

 Vaccinations:

NOTE: We do not offer vaccines or microchips to unaltered pets.
The following vaccines are offered for $15.00:

 
  • Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calici Virus, and Panleukopenia (FVRCP)
This is by far the most important vaccine to protect your kitty from common diseases that they can contract from other cats and in the environment. Symptoms range from common cold-like symptoms to diarrhea to sudden death.
 
  •  Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV)
FeLV causes a breakdown in your cat's immune system allowing the opportunistic invasion of other diseases or ailments, your cat can become sick from a wide variety of conditions and therefore display a wide variety of symptoms. This vaccine is important for outdoor and indoor/outdoor cats.
 
  • Rabies:
We have seen and increase in Rabies in Deschutes county wildlife recently. Rabies is recommended to any outdoor pet.

 Microchips

Microchips for cat or dog: $25.00

This is the easiest way to ensure your pet will be returned to you in the event of escape!  A tiny chip is implanted between the shoulder blades which holds a number that permanently links your information to your pet.

Registration is free and you can change your information if you move at no charge!
