CAT SPAY/NEUTER FOR $15...HURRY! |
|
Due to a mild winter, we are expecting a worse-than-normal breeding
season for cats, with many already in heat and some even pregnant!
Prevention MUST begin now - please don't put off getting your kitties
fixed! Through the Bend Spay and Neuter Project, I'd like to help cats
and their owners who can't afford the regular cost of spay and neuter,
but know how important it is to be responsible and not add to the cat
overpopulation problem.
* Offer is good until the funds run out - thanks to an additional
donation there is still funding, probably lasting to mid
February.
* If you can pay $15, Sandy's Account will pay the rest.
* Good only for spay/neuter of cats and kittens (extras like vaccines,
tests and microchips you pay).
* If you have multiple cats, please take advantage of this offer ASAP,
before the clinic becomes over-booked!
* Owned cats, neighborhood strays and ferals are all welcome! All
kittens must be at least 2 lbs (about 10 wks old)
*Just call BSNP to schedule your appointments: Mon, Tues and Wed - (541)617-1010.
* You must mention this ad when you make the appointment - please, this
is for people who cannot afford the regular $45 fee.
* Anyone wanting to contribute to my effort please donate to BSNP (Sandy's account).
Many people are still unaware of the cat overpopulation problem - way
too many cats and not enough homes for them all. The economy has made
matters worse, including here in Central Oregon. People losing their
homes and jobs have directly affected cats with many being abandoned and
left to suffer on the streets or surrendered to crowded shelters.
Euthanasia is no longer the accepted 'humane solution' - prevention of
unwanted litters is.
Thank you for caring.

Pets are not without warmth or shelter by their own
choice. Starting now, you may donate new or gently used dog coats,
sweaters, slickers, or booties, which will be distributed to homeless
people and their pets, in partnership with local community outreach
organizations. Pet food and bedding will also be accepted.
Items can be dropped off at the Clinic, Bend Pet Express (East & West),

Bend Spay &
Neuter Project's second annual Dog Coat Drive has netted 62 coats, 3
rain jackets, 6 harnesses/leashes, 2 doggie backpacks, and 2 packages of
